Connecting You with Verified & Trusted Local Experts

Welcome to PlebX ("we", "our", or "us"). We are dedicated to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and data security of all users who interact with our mobile application, APIs, and associated web services. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, store, utilize, and protect your information in adherence to Google Play Developer Policies and global privacy standards.

1. Information We Collect

• Account & Profile Details: When you register on PlebX, we collect your phone number (verified via OTP), full name, profile picture, and role selection (Customer or Service Provider).
• Identity & Verification Information: For Service Providers, in compliance with safety regulations and platform vetting, we process verification credentials such as government identification (e.g., Aadhaar verification via authorized verification gateways) and live selfie facial match. Sensitive raw identification numbers are never exposed to other users.
• Location Data: With your explicit runtime permission, PlebX collects approximate and precise location coordinates while using the application to facilitate nearby service discovery, calculate travel proximity, and provide relevant listings. You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
• Device & Diagnostic Data: For security, error logging, and crash tracking, we gather standard technical diagnostics including operating system version, device identifiers, and network connection status.
• Communications: Messages exchanged over the PlebX chat system are securely transmitted using encrypted protocols to allow communication regarding service bookings and inquiries.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create, verify, authenticate, and maintain your account.
• To connect service seekers with appropriate and verified local service professionals.
• To ensure safety, prevent fraud, detect malicious activities, and resolve disputes.
• To send critical transactional notifications, service updates, and account security alerts.
• To analyze performance and improve application reliability and usability.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your information is only shared under the following strictly authorized parameters:

• Between Users: When you initiate a service request or chat, your public profile information (such as your name, rating, and approximate distance) is visible to the respective party to coordinate work.
• Service Infrastructure Providers: Secure cloud database hosts, SMS gateway providers (for OTP delivery), and government-authorized identity verification APIs operating under contractual confidentiality.
• Legal Compliance: When required by enforceable governmental requests, court orders, or applicable statutory laws.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard cryptographic protections, including HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit and AES encryption at rest. Regular security audits, strict authentication protocols, and restricted role-based internal access safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

5. Children's Privacy

PlebX is strictly intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 18. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we immediately terminate the account and purge the data from our records.
