Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms govern access to Stride's website, application, and community savings services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter a contract, and located in an area where the service is offered. You agree to provide accurate information, complete required verification, protect your login credentials, and promptly report unauthorized activity.

3. Savings circle participation

Circle organizers establish contribution amounts, frequency, member count, start date, and payout order. Members agree to review circle terms before joining, contribute on schedule, and remain responsible for obligations throughout an active cycle.

4. Contributions, fees, and payouts

You authorize disclosed charges and transfers needed to participate. Processing times, fees, holds, refunds, failed payments, or payout delays may depend on payment partners, bank networks, risk review, and applicable law. Stride does not guarantee the conduct or payment performance of any participant.

5. Vouches and sponsorship

A vouch represents a genuine personal trust relationship. Inviting a person may make you their sponsor for the active circle. Sponsors may be notified of missed payments and, according to circle rules, asked to cover an invitee's contribution. Sponsorship restrictions may apply and generally cannot be changed after the first payout without approval.

6. Trust scores

Trust scores are internal reliability indicators based on factors such as verification, contributions, completed circles, vouches, defaults, and policy violations. They are not credit scores or guarantees of financial performance. Rules and score weights may be updated to protect the community.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not provide false information, manipulate vouches or payouts, create duplicate accounts, commit fraud, harass others, misuse another person's information, interfere with the service, or use Stride for unlawful activity.

8. Suspension and termination

Stride may review, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or circles for suspected fraud, failed verification, missed obligations, legal requirements, safety concerns, or violation of these Terms. Account deletion does not remove unpaid obligations or required transaction records.

9. Disclaimers and limitation

Stride provides technology to organize community savings and is not a bank, financial adviser, or guarantor of member payments unless expressly stated. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is,” and liability is limited as required by applicable law.

10. Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms as features, laws, or risks change. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance.
